Bellini-Tiberti unstoppable: third success in a row at Franciacorta Historic!

The young crew one half coming from Bergamo and the other from Brescia have won once again on a 1938 Fiat 508 C over Aliverti-Cadei and Belometti-Vavassori

For the third year in a row Edoardo Bellini and Roberto Tiberti have won the Franciacorta Historic, classic spring event for historic cars that have collected 110 crews who have fought along a rhythmic route with 53 precision time trials, all valid for the final ranking.

The young crew of Franciacorta Motori, on their 1938 Fiat 508 C already winner in 2016 and 2017, have won the UBI Banca Trophy over only 2 penalties (222 against 224) the teammates Alberto Aliverti and Stefano Cadei also on a similar 1937 Fiat 508 C; third place on the podium for Andrea Belometti and Doriano Vavassori of Loro Piana Classic Car Team (236 penalties) on a 1929 Lancia Lambda 221 Spider Casaro.

Among teams the title has gone to FM Franciacorta Motori, starting with 15 crews while Himara Bottini and Rosemary Boscardin have won the female trophy on a 1956 Triumph TR3 over Emanuela Cinelli and Elisabetta Roselli (Triumph TR2, 1954) and Elena Magionami and Alessia Benetti (Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, 1965). The swiss crew of Stefano and Susanna Ginesi have finally won the prize for the first foreign crew on their sportive Porsche 914/6 built in 1970 over countrymen Ferruccio and Carlo Nessi (Riley Brooklands, 1928) and Stefano and Barbara Valente on a 1959 Jaguar XK150 FHC.

The eleventh edition of the spring race goes in archive with many beautiful cars that made a great show along the fascinating route of 130 km through the most beautiful streets of Franciacorta.
