Canè-Galliani from Bologna have won the 1st edition into the circuit

Satisfaction for the organizers of Franciacorta Historic, new regularity race for classic cars thought and created by VECARS, held on Franciacorta International Circuit 'Daniel Bonara' in Castrezzato. The covered sky of the early morning with the passing of hours has given way to a beautiful, warm sunny day which made it even more spectacular passes of cars into the circuit.

The race formula has been appreciated by more than 60 competitors regularly verified that at the end of the day have been engaged in 49 precision time trials divided in 3 separated session into the circuit. The great number of Top Drivers has manifested interest in the new event and in its formula: many of them have registered excellent performances with 11 crews that have held an average error of less than 5 hundreds of a second. Into groups' time lists the victory goes respectively to Canè-Galliani (group 1), Fontanella-Malta (2), Mezzadri (3), Saporetti-Blandino (4) and Fontana-Scozzesi (5).

In the final classification, edited considering all penalties aquired by competitors, the success has gone to husband and wife from Bologna Giuliano Canè and Lucia Galliani that on a 1938 Lancia Aprila have preceded Angelo Mezzadri (Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider, 1961) and Fontana-Scozzesi (Porsche 911 T, 1968) who have won a beautiful TAG Heuer Carrera cronographer offered by Barozzi because the realization of the largest number of 'net' times during the competition.
