Unveiled the route of the 17th edition of Franciacorta Historic

The new race path will engage competitors for almost 130 km into suggestive passages through Franciacorta and Lake Iseo with the record number of 58 in-line precision time trials (not repeated)

Two weeks before the start of the 17th edition of Franciacorta Historic - scheduled Saturday 6 April - is now time to discover the new race route that will again be characterized for the most part in Franciacorta and along the shores of Lake Iseo with a path of almost 130 km planned by organizers with 58 precision time trials in-line (record), one more than last edition when a total of 57 were held (with 3 of them out of ranking).

The start of the first car is scheduled at 11.00 from Cascina San Lorenzo in Capriolo, confirmed as race headquarters of the event, with cars that will face the first part of the race of about 30 km (and 27 PC) through the fascinating roads of Franciacorta between historic villages and vineyards up to the break for lunch scheduled at Chalet San Martino, suggestive location on Paratico's lakeside where competitors will enjoy a pleasant break after having faced the 3 traditional trials valid (also) for the assignment of the '9th Comune di Paratico Trophy' with the characteristic Riva Aquarama motorboat model offered by Naturalmente Paratico Association as a prize.

At 13.00 hrs the first competitor will restart towards the second part of the route with passages in Clusane, Timoline, Calino, Bornato, Passirano and Rodengo Saiano before the climbs of Ome, Polaveno and Nistisino and the descent towards Sulzano (with a spectacular 180° view of Lake Iseo) and then continue towards Provaglio d'Iseo, Provezze, Monticelli Brusati (with 2 trials at Villa Cellar), Fantecolo, Monterotondo, Borgonato, Clusane and Paratico until the return to the Cascina San Lorenzo starting from 16.15 hrs where, waiting for the return of all the crews and before the award ceremony scheduled at 19.30 hrs, a rich refreshments will be served with a taste of “Franciacorta” San Lorenzo.

The event will be open to all cars built until 1976 and also a maximum of 15 cars produced between 1977 and 1990 that will be included in a special off-chart list. Registrations must be improved online by clicking on menu item "2024 > ONLINE ENTRY" and then sent to the Organizing Committee by e-mail, accompanied by valid copy of at least one car's identity fiche and the entry fee payment receipt of € 390,00 (VAT included) including hospitality for the entire day of Saturday with breakfast, lunch, farewell refreshment and exclusive gifts.
