Another record edition for Franciacorta Historic: 130 entered crews

The important number of cars reached in 2021 has been confirmed with many pre-war models and as many Top Drivers who will compete in what has now become one of the most challenging and competitive races on the entire ACI Sport calendar

There is only one day left for Franciacorta Historic, which will officially begin on Friday 8 April at 15.00 hrs with the meeting of Competitors at the Cantina Ferghettina in Adro (Brescia) for the first accreditation and scrutinnering session.

Also in this edition organizers have filled up with entries with 130 crews at the start, an important confirmation for an event that, now in its 15th edition, is now firmly among the first 5 regularity races with most entries of ACI Sport calendar.

The new race route, designed ad-hoc for the important anniversary, will engage competitors for 170 km in suggestive passages through Franciacorta, Lake Iseo and Val Trompia with 53 precision time trials in line (not repeated) and the characteristic lunch break on the Maniva Pass at almost 1700 meters of altitude.

The snow that has fallen at high altitude in recent days will make an event that has always been held in spring unusually 'white', but organizers have received ample reassurances from the local authorities about the practicability of roads, further facilitated by weather forecasts that give good weather and hot sun throughout the weekend.

Here are some details concerning this edition:

• 23 automotive brands
• 6 nations represented by competitors
• 38 pre-war entered cars
• 31 the Top Driver at the start (among a total of 60 seeded crews)
• 3 winners of past editions

From now till the end of the event you can follow the event through internet and interact with posts, photos and comments on the official FacebookTwitter and Instagram pages using the hashtag #FranciacortaHistoric2022.

It is possible to download the entry list by connecting to the Virtual Noticeboard.
